Concessions

Railway trespassing - offenders will be arrested and fined up to $5,500

Please remember

Please ensure you are carrying a valid ticket when travelling. If you are travelling on a concession fare you must also be in possession of a valid concession card. Fare Evasion is a crime and could result in a fine.
Please remember that no smoking applies in enclosed and/or covered areas of stations and on trains. Breach of the Smoke Free Environment Act 2000 or Rail Safety (General) Regulation 2003 may result in a fine.
Toxic, inflammable and/or hazardous materials are not permitted on stations or trains.
Riding of push bikes, skateboards, scooters and skates is not permitted.
Bicycles - standard, folding and disassembled - travel free in non-peak periods. You will need to purchase a child ticket as well as your own if you wish to travel with a bicycle between the hours of 6.00am and 9.00am and 3.30pm and 7.30pm on weekdays.
Consumption of alcohol is not permitted on stations and CityRail trains.
No pets or animals are allowed on stations or trains except assistance dogs (trained for the visual, hearing or mobility impaired), assistance dogs in training and police and security dogs on duty.
Please do not block passageways used by CityRail staff and passengers, sit on steps or place feet on seats on stations and trains.
Do not place feet on seats.
Please stand behind the yellow line on the platform and allow passengers to get off the train before boarding.
When the whistle blows, please do not attempt to get on the train.
Please place your litter in station bins if provided, otherwise take your rubbish with you.
Stations are for catching trains.
Only remain at stations if you intend to travel.
