Q.When can I purchase my 14 Day RailPass?
A. You can buy the new 14 Day RailPass any day of the week from Wednesday 21 May 2008.
If you get paid fortnightly, why not buy your ticket on pay day?
Q. How much will I save if I buy a 14 Day RailPass?
A. The 14 Day RailPass is exactly twice the price of a 7 Day RailPass.
When you buy a 14 Day RailPass you only pay for eight return trips, so you can enjoy six days travel for free.
If you regularly purchase single or return tickets you could save even more money with a 14 Day RailPass. For example, you save from 35% when compared to buying 14 daily return tickets if you travel up to 10km e.g. from St Leonards to the City.
Q. Can I buy my 14 Day RailPass after 3.00pm, the day before I need it - in the same way as I buy my 7 Day RailPass?
A. Yes. If you purchase your 14 Day RailPass after 3.00pm, you can travel by train that afternoon plus a further fourteen consecutive days.
Q.When will other stations be selling the 14 Day RailPass?
A. At this stage the 14 Day RailPass will be sold on a trial basis for several weeks at 25 stations, including all Sydney City stations. If the trial is successful, the 14 Day RailPass will be made available at all CityRail stations.
